- For anyone considering submitting a session for the conference (17-24 November), please note:
- The online conference will be run online via Zoom or a similar technology. Therefore, please be sure that your connectivity is sufficient to present online via this type of platform
- For anyone who would like to present, but would like training/support in doing so online, please tick the box relating to this on the form when you submit your session
- You will have the option to request a chair/facilitator for your session from the conference team, or to identify someone yourselves in your proposal
- All formal sessions will be scheduled to last for a maximum of 75 minutes (an hour and a quarter), so bear this in mind when submitting your proposal
- The expectation is that all sessions will be available for free access after the event, so by running a session, you give permission for this to happen
- All participants will be expected to buy a ticket for the event. You can access booking information on our Tickets page
- As well as panel and discussion sessions, we also welcome quirky and innovative sessions, especially around the ‘food’ and socialising themes which are important elements of the event
- We welcome local in-person events across the North of England and Scotland which will be accessible as part of the NRFC conference programmeFor anyone considering submitting a session for the gathering (2-3 December in Lancaster), please note:
The in-person event will be held at the Town Hall in Lancaster
- We anticipate that in-person sessions will last for 60 minutes and we will build networking/breaks into the programme
- You will have the option to request a chair/facilitator for your session from the conference team, or to identify someone yourselves in your proposal
- We welcome proposals to host local social events, tours and informal networking options
- All participants will be expected to buy a ticket for the event. You can access booking information on our Tickets page

For all submissions, you will need to have ready to upload:
- a publishable title for your session
- a publishable outline of your session, including what participants will gain from attending
- the format of the session
- names, email addresses and biographies of all speakers/contributors to your session
- a photo we can use to promote the session
